Emma Jane Smith

Well Sweet Emma Jane is finally here! She was born friday night, February 9th at 8:05pm. 7 lbs, 7 oz and 20 inches long. SHE IS PERFECT!

We are home and doing well. Madeline is so excited she just "can't believe there are six people in her family". Savanna has told me repeatedly that she "Could not imagine Emma would be this cute" and Christian has been holding her on the couch and singing "how much is that doggie in the window" to her! Now if we could just get all of them sleeping that would be great! Seriously, we are feeling so blessed and thankful for this wonderful miracle and new addition to our family. I am so thankful for Kurt and what a wonderful father he is! I could not do this without him. We love you all and thanks for letting us share our happy news!

Hair Cuts and More

Madeline, Savanna and I all got our hair cut this past week. The girls look so cute so I wanted to share ! They are looking so grown up.

There is a lot of waiting going on at our house right now! Waiting for baby! So in the mean time I have been scrapbooking. I figured since my house is now decorated with Champ Baily you brothers are all subject to a little scrapbooking. So here is a fun page I did of mom and dad.

We are very excited to see Kristen tomorrow and I will post some photos of that too! We love you! -Emily & Family

Annual Christmas Tree Cutting - 2006!

We had so much fun cutting trees this year! The best comment we got after all 3 trees were loaded in Richard's trailer was 'Where are you headed -- the White House?"
I love the photo Brent took of Kurt and I -we have so few of those these days!
And we loved Matt's message on the answering machine when we got home about saving the forest and not cutting trees! TOO late Matt!

Family Fun

Is that the longest table you have ever seen?

Nathan caught a dove with a broken wing and has been taking care of it!

I know you can't read the signs but they say "we miss you!" We do miss all of you that are not here and we hope to see you very soon!

Brent is Back and Better than Ever!

It is so fun to have Brent home! We had a great time picking him up at the airport. Mom brought balloons for the grandchildren to hold and cheer for him! The grandchildren sang "Children Holding Hands around the World" for Brent and sounded great!

Our Fun Weekend

Kate and I had fun with Gabby downtown on Saturday. They have these summer park passes, and so you can do all of the rides, free imax movies, free carousel rides, etc. We have already enjoyed them a bunch. Here are a couple of pictures.
